I first want to start off this blog by congratulating Arizona Diamondbacks Manager Torey Lovullo and his team on an improbable run to the World Series. Arizona began this unlikely run by losing the NL West Division to the Los Angeles Dodgers by 16 games. Arizona got red hot in the postseason by beating the NL Central Champion Milwaukee Brewers 2-0 in the Wild Card Round. Than in the NLDS Arizona would shock the over 100 win Los Angeles Dodgers in a stunning sweep. Arizona would continue this improbable run as they then faced the Phillies in the NLCS. The Diamondbacks run it looked like was coming to an end as they fell behind the Phillies 3-2 with 2 games in Philadelphia but Arizona would find a way to win both games to win the NL Pennant. Arizona has a lot to be proud of it was a remarkable season. This is all about the 2023 World Series Champions Texas Rangers. Manager Bruce Bochy now has 4 World Series rings including 3 with the San Francisco Giants. This Texas team was loaded with firepower with 2 Time World Series MVP Corey Seager who now has 2 Championships for 2 different teams, he is just the second player ever to win the award for 2 different teams. He joins Hall OF Famer Mr. October Reggie Jackson as the only other player. Texas had fantastic pitching with Nathan Eovaldi who went 5-0 in the postseason he now has 2 World Championships. Texas also added future Hall of Famer Max Scherzer who got hurt in the World Series he also has his second Championship. They also added Jordan Montgomery from the ST. Louis Cardinals, who was spectacular. This Rangers team spent big big by adding those players including Corey Seager last year with Marcus Semien. They also have Adonis Garcia who hurt his Oblique Muscle in the World Series. This Rangers team was destined for this Championship in fact Texas lost the AL West Division title on the final game of the regular season to the Houston Astros. Texas would get it's revenge by going down 3-2 to Houston where they would just destroy the Astros to win the American League Pennant. I want to Congratulate the Texas Rangers on winning there first ever World Series Championship.
