This week in College Football was all about 2 Powerhouses in than Undefeated # 8 Oregon and Undefeated #7 Washington. This game did not disappoint it was breathtaking if you like offense that was the game for you. Washington Quarterback and Heisman Trophy Favorite Michael Penix Jr lit up the Ducks. Penix Jr got hurt but played through the pain he finished 22/37 for 302 yards including 4 Touchdown passes and only 1 interception. He had a 89.0 Quarterback rating, here are other standout players for the Victorious Washington Huskies who beat the Oregon Ducks in a Instant Classic.
Washington Running Back Dillon Johnson had a great game on the ground as he had 20 Carries for 100 yards and 1 TD. The Huskies 2 Wide Receivers had over 100 yards including 3 total Touchdowns. As for the Oregon Ducks Heisman Trophy Candidate Bo Nix was incredible as he went 33/44 for 337 yards with 2 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. Nix finished with a Quarterback rating of 81.7. The Ducks had a very strong running attack led by Bucky Irving who had 22 Carries for 127 yards with 1 TD. His counterpart Jordan James had a solid showing as he had 11 Carries for 63 yards with 1 touchdown also. Speedster Wide Receiver Troy Franklin Burned the Huskies for 8 Receptions for 154 yards with 1 Touchdown. Oregon Head Coach Dan Lanning was very gutsy as he would go for it a lot in the game and instead of kicking a Field Goal before halftime Oregon would go and get nothing out of it. It all came down to Oregon Kicker Camden Lewis who missed a 36 yard field goal and Washington survived Oregon 36-33 in a thrilling game. Oregon has a great team and 1 loss won't affect there College Football Playoff chances but now there's no room for error. As for Washington there in the drivers seat of playing in the PAC 12 Championship Game later this year and also in contention for a Playoff Spot.
